We have just finished another exciting week at Smitha Middle School! In Earth Science, we finished our tests on Minerals and have moved on to our investigation of the Rock Cycle. In Life Science, we learned about decomposers, producers and consumers and created a food web that was turned in for a grade. We are now working on a "restaurant menu" of food items that could be "ordered" by an animal that lives in the Sahara Desert. In Social Studies, we continue to quiz ourselves on the nations and geographical features of the Middle East. Bring a piece of posterboard to school this week for our upcoming project on the different types of Middle Eastern maps.
