6th Grade:Today we used a study guide to prepare for tomorrow's test on Minerals. At the end of class, we went over the answers. We also made a "super saturated solution" of borax and water. We are hoping to see the formation of Borax crystals after this solution cools and the water evaporates. On Wednesday, we will have a notebook check to see how organized everyone is. :)
7th Grade: Our 3 projects on Biomes are due on Friday. We spent 3 days in the computer lab last week and most of us have at least 2 projects finished. We used a "Think Tac Toe" choice board to choose the projects. Today, we began a unit on Food Chains and Food Webs by looking at a Powerpoint and taking notes. There will be a quiz tomorrow on these notes.
